The swirl of emotions that had surrounded him died abruptly. It was if some door he couldn\u2019t see had slammed shut. The sudden stillness felt cold. Lonely. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re wrong, you know.\u201d Her voice was soft, detached. With the emotive eddy locked down, he couldn\u2019t read what she was feeling, but in many respects, he didn\u2019t need to. <\/p>\n
